Disponible DSM 5.0 Beta Build 4418 Update 1 [Changelog]

Esta mañana Synology ha liberado una actualización de la beta de DSM 5.0, siendo nombrada como Build 4418 Update 1. Hay ciertas correcciones respecto la versión anterior, especialmente un problema de degradación en los volúmenes por lo que se recomienda actualizar, El listado de cambios en este update lo puedes encontrar a continuación, interesante saber que se están comentado problemas si tenemos montado un servidor VPN, concretamente si está basado sobre OpenVPN:

Fixed Issues in Update 1

• Data volumes would maybe become degraded or crashed on certain models, including DS413j, RS812, RS411, DS411, DS411j, DS411slim, DS410j.
• LAN (Ethernet) interface would disappear when Wi-Fi hotspot was turned on and Wi-Fi adapter was unplugged.
• Personal Web Station did not work.

Fixed Issues in Cloud Sync 1.0-0037

• Stability becomes an issue when syncing files with Google Drive.
• Compatibility issue with Personal Photo Station.

Fixed Issues in Cloud Station 3.0-3005

• Connection over SSL did not work.

Fixed Issues in Antivirus by McAfee 1.3-2320

• McAfee subscription renew did not work.

Fixed Issues in DS video for Samsung TV 1.0-017

• Default language was not English.
• Limitations
• Shortcuts that were created previously will be cleared after upgrading to DSM 5.0.

Known Issues

Logitech Media Server

• The album and movie covers might not display correctly
• Media formats that require transcoding might not work

Windows File Services

• SMB2 does not support the extended attributes for Mac OS X 10.9.1 in DSM 5.0 beta. For files and folders with certain types of extended attributes named "resource fork", such as custom icon and default application settings, the main file/folder context will be saved without any resource fork data.

Cloud Station

• Cloud Station computer client version 2.0-2391 and 2.0-2402 will not be automatically upgraded.

Photo Station

• Photos or videos stored in shared folders which have converted to Windows ACL or created in DSM 5.0 may not be copied to Photo Station from the web uploading interface. To solve this, please go to Control Panel > Shared Folders, and assign Read permission to the http group on the shared folder in question.

Central Management System

• Cannot add Synology NAS servers with passwords that include these characters +, ?, %, &.
• The URL is incorrect when launching apps from a remote server over an HTTPS connection.

DSM Desktop

• The network traffic section of the Resource Monitor widget shows “0 KB/s” when it is minimized to the taskbar.

Backup & Replication

• To backup system configurations, a backup task must be created in Backup & Replication.

Antivirus Essential & McAfee

• The button to update virus definitions is not hidden when using certain display languages. To find the button, please change the display language to English.
